Professional Title and Employer: Deputy City Attorney, City of Mobile
Professional Background
Suntrease Williams-Maynard is a public servant, attorney, and military officer whose career is defined by leadership, service, and a commitment to advancing others. She serves as Deputy City Attorney for the City of Mobile, where she provides strategic legal guidance and helps lead the City's Legal Department, ensuring effective, ethical, and accountable municipal governance.
Ms. Williams-Maynard previously served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern Districts of Alabama and Texas, prosecuting complex, high-impact cases. She also served as a Trial Attorney with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, advancing civil rights enforcement. Most recently, she served as Special Counsel with Adams and Reese LLP, advising public and private entities on federal defense, compliance, workplace investigations, and governance matters, including utility boards, school boards, colleges and universities, and nonprofit organizations.
In addition to her civilian career, Ms. Williams-Maynard serves as a Major in the United States Air Force Reserve as a Judge Advocate (JAG), reflecting her continued dedication to national service.
Education
Ms. Williams-Maynard earned her Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law. She holds a Master of Public Administration and a graduate certificate in Human Resources Management from The Pennsylvania State University. She earned her bachelor's degree from Shaw University, where she graduated with honors.
Community Engagement
A respected leader in her profession and community, Ms. Williams-Maynard serves on multiple boards at the local, state, and national levels and is the recipient of numerous professional and civic awards. Her commitment to mentorship, leadership development, civic engagement, and community service is reflected throughout her professional and volunteer endeavors.
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®
Ms. Williams-Maynard is one of the 17 chartering members who established Alpha Gamma Zeta Omega Chapter (AGZO) and serves as its Chartering Basileus. Prior to the chapter's chartering, she served as President of the Exquisite Pearls of the Alabama Eastern Shore Interest Group, demonstrating her commitment to sorority leadership, membership development, and service.
As Chartering Basileus, Ms. Williams-Maynard established the Exquisite Trifecta Leadership Program, a chapter leadership-development initiative designed to build a strong foundation for effective and sustainable leadership. The program focuses on preparing members for leadership positions by developing an understanding of leadership roles and responsibilities, strengthening knowledge of the organization's governing documents, and providing opportunities to learn from experienced leaders who share best practices and lessons learned. Through this initiative, she has prioritized leadership continuity, institutional knowledge, and the long-term development of emerging chapter leaders.
Her Alpha Kappa Alpha leadership accomplishments also include graduating from the Dr. Glenda Glover Leadership Institute and earning both the Basileus Certification and Executive Leadership Certification.
Samantha Ngando is a charter member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ® Alpha Gamma Zeta Omega Chapter, currently serving as Vice President. Samantha received Bachelor of Science degrees from Auburn University and the University of South Alabama. Samantha is a registered nurse and respiratory therapist, whose professional work focused on caring for sick and premature babies over a span of 20 years. She is an Associate Jewel of the Mobile, Alabama Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated, previously serving as Program Director, Lead Teen Advisor and chaired several service committees as a Mother member. Samantha was initiated into Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ®  Kappa Chi Chapter at Auburn University Winter of 1990. She completed and holds current Financial Officer certification.
Marcia L. Joiner Grammateus

Marcia Joiner, LPC, is a licensed mental health professional with over 20 years of experience providing counseling, assessment, and behavioral health services in community and correctional settings. She specializes in treating mental health, emotional, and substance use disorders using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and family systems interventions. Marcia currently serves at G.K. Fountain Correctional Facility and in private practice at Sunshine Behavioral Health Center, where she is dedicated to helping individuals achieve emotional wellness, resilience, and lasting positive change.

Dedicated Nursing Home Administrator with more than 30 years of healthcare experience, including 22 of those years serving seniors and families throughout Alabama. Passionate about senior care, she is committed to ensuring residents are treated with dignity, compassion,
and respect while making certain their voices and those of their families are during some of life's most vulnerable moments.

Kiandrea Turner-Blossom Pecunious Grammateus
Kiandrea Turner-Blossom currently serves as Financial Secretary and has been a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated for more than 30 years, serving in numerous leadership and service capacities.
With more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Kiandrea built a career in revenue cycle management before retiring from healthcare and transitioning into her passion for education as a high school mathematics teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Master of Business Administration, both from Vanderbilt University.
Kiandrea is deeply committed to community and global service. Her service includes local and international missionary work in Guatemala and Cameroon, as well as involvement with Habitat for Humanity of Baldwin County and Prodisee Pantry.
Through her professional career, education, and commitment to service, Kiandrea continues to embrace opportunities to lead, serve, and make a meaningful difference in her community and beyond.

Frankietta "Monique" Horn-James serves as Chaplain and is a dedicated member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® since Spring 2004. Professionally, she works as a Disease Intervention Specialist in the field of Public Health, where her work centers on disease prevention, intervention, education, and community health.
She earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of West Alabama. Her commitment to service extends into her faith community, where she serves as Church Treasurer, supporting the financial stewardship and administrative needs of her church.
With more than 22 years of membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Frankietta remains committed to sisterhood, service, leadership, and positively impacting her community.

Renee Nguyen is a chartering member of Alpha Gamma Zeta Omega Chapter and a member of the Rho Chi Chapter at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama, where she joined in the spring of 2007. She currently serves as Standards Chair and Historian.
Renee holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from Huntingdon College and a Master of Education in Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama. She currently serves as Assistant Principal and 3rd Grade Teacher at Government Street Christian School in Mobile, Alabama.

Tomica Bradley-Wiggins is a dedicated educator and school leader with more than 26 years of experience serving children, families, and school communities. Throughout her career, she has served as an elementary teacher, assistant principal, principal, and school counselor. She currently serves as an Assistant Principal with Baldwin County Public Schools.
Her commitment to excellence has been recognized through numerous honors, including Baldwin Proud Employee of the Month, RAVE Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards, and recognition for implementing a RAMP Program of Distinction in school counseling. She is passionate about student achievement, character development, family engagement, and creating supportive school environments in which every child can succeed.

Mrs. Wiggins earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama. She also holds a Master of Science degree in School Counseling, a certification in Educational Administration, and an Education Specialist degree in School Counseling.
Community Engagement
Mrs. Wiggins is an active member of Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church, where she serves as Assistant Director of the Nursery Ministry. She also supports the church through her service as a Sunday School teacher and her involvement with the Matron Ministry and Youth Department. Her commitment to service extends beyond the church through her work with children, families, educators, and community organizations.
